Podiem is engaged by Belfast City Council to create, plan and execute an annual bespoke masterclass for those considering starting a business in the hair, beauty or cosmetics sectors.
Now in its second year, Podiem, (in partnership with Belfast City Council), has created a bespoke masterclass targeting those in the hair and beauty industries with a view to inspiring them to consider starting a business & connecting them with the support available to help progress. The event has gained traction and is now an annual event in the calendars of many training academies across the Belfast area.
Attendees have heard from others who have travelled a similar path and are now at the top of their game in their industries. Previous speakers have included, UK Apprentice semi-finalist, Grainne McCoy, Founder of LMD Cosmetics, Louise McDonnell, and Founder of Jays Barber Club and Jays Pro Barber Academy, Jay Millar.
This event focuses on providing inspiration and practical advice as well as support for those who want to take the leap into starting their own business. A selection of images from the events are below.
