Create and execute a three-month programme designed to unearth, recognise, and fast-track 22 exceptional potential young entrepreneurs in the city of Belfast.
Following on from the success of its pilot year, Podiem delivered a programme that unearthed, recognised and fast-tracked a second cohort of 22 entrepreneurs under the age of 22 in Belfast through a series of action-oriented workshops that have acted as a springboard for future success. Within the programme, previous cohorts have heard from world-leading entrepreneurs including Alice Thompson, Co-Founder of Social Bite & The Big Sleepout, Greg Bradley, Founder of BLK BOX, and Alan Mahon, Founder & Executive Chair of Brewgooder. The programme culminated with a final pitch night where participants were given the opportunity to pitch to an audience of stakeholders for a £2K cash injection to help their business get traction.
Feedback from participants as exceptional, with many commenting how the programme helped them improve their confidence and harness their future goals for their business.
